In the classroom

Play that students actually want to do.

Every activity in the curriculum is tested in real classrooms first. If kids don't love it, it doesn't make the cut.

What schools say

Educators who've lived it.

The School of Play gave our whole school a shared language. Our students now lead play sessions themselves; the culture shift has been remarkable and it happened faster than we ever expected.

Jodie
Principal, Clyde Creek Primary School
★★★★★

What I love most is how practical it is. Every teacher can pick it up and run with it from day one. Our staff wellbeing improved, our students are more connected, and play is now part of who we are as a school.

Lynn

How we compare

Built for schools, not adapted from corporate wellbeing.

Most wellbeing programs are one-off workshops or a binder that lives on a shelf. The School of Play is a year-long, daily-practice curriculum that integrates with what you already teach.

The wellbeing dashboard that actually gets used.

Daily check-ins, action tiles, 50+ wellbeing badges, adventure maps, house points and parent reports, all included in your annual licence.

Daily check-ins

How are you feeling today? A two-minute pulse each morning. Students rate their mood in seconds; staff see it before roll is marked.

50+ achievement badges

Earned through play. Badges reward participation, effort and leadership, never comparison.

Adventure maps

Term-long quests. Weekly whole-school missions that get every year level playing toward the same goal.

Parent reports

Weekly digest. Families see the same play habit their child is building at school. One shared story, home and school.

Schools FAQ

Quick answers for school leaders.

Can't find what you're looking for? Drop us a line and we'll get back to you within one business day.

How long does it take to roll out?

Most schools start with a free trial unit, then move to a whole-school licence within a term. Full curriculum implementation typically spans 25–40 weeks per age group, but you set the pace.

Does the curriculum align with our state or national standards?

Yes. The School of Play curriculum is mapped to 11 global education standards: Australian Curriculum (HPE v9), Victorian Curriculum (PSC + HPE), NSW PDHPE, Queensland (QCAA), Western Australia (SCSA), England (PSHE), IB PYP, IB MYP, USA (CASEL), New Zealand (HPE) and the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework.

Do teachers need training before they can use it?

Not to start. The curriculum includes video tutorials, success criteria and Family/Student/Facilitator Guides for every activity. For deeper PD, the Academy is a five-module certified pathway, VIT- and AITSL-aligned, with reflection tasks every step of the way.

How is it different from a traditional wellbeing program?

Traditional programs are usually one-off workshops or a binder on a shelf. The School of Play is a year-long, daily-practice curriculum built around the PEGG framework, backed by La Trobe research and integrated with Respectful Relationships.

What does it cost?

Annual school licences start from $1,000/year for whole-school access. That covers the full curriculum, the Better Us Schools platform, family access and AITSL-aligned PD hours. See our pricing section above or contact us for a custom quote.

What if it doesn't work for our school?

Start with the free 2-week curriculum sample and the Wellbeing Assembly Kit, no credit card required. If it's not the right fit, you've cost yourself nothing.
