Overview

Overview

Week Seventeen brings together numeracy, teamwork, fitness, and personal growth in a highly engaging and meaningful way. Students strengthen their quick-thinking skills through active numeracy challenges, practise bravery and self-reflection, and develop strong collaborative habits through fitness-based team activities. The combination of games such as Numeracy Battle, Keep on Rolling, and Wheel of Fortune Wellness encourages students to stay physically active while applying mental strategies, solving problems together, and supporting each other’s efforts with positivity and encouragement.

This week also emphasises emotional growth, gratitude, and empathy. Through reflective activities like What Makes Me Brave? and the mindfulness stations in Wheel of Fortune Wellness, students explore moments of courage, share personal experiences, and learn how to support others in their own acts of bravery. These activities help students recognise their strengths, develop emotional intelligence, and foster a supportive, uplifting classroom community. By the end of the week, students feel more connected, confident, and empowered in both their learning and their relationships.
